Chesapeake offers a variety of housing options ranging from historic to new custom builds. Buyers can choose from single-family homes, row houses, and luxury condominiums. Most homes in the City were built between 1960 and 1984. Some well established older homes were constructed between 1940 and 1959. There is also a selection of newer homes built after 1985, and a few historic homes constructed prior to 1939.
